it probably doesn't mean anything for screenblast movie studio. it just means screenblast.com was a big loser.

I don't think the site ever became what it was originally conceived as -- a community for sharing videos and a promotional sitefor Screenblast software.

The biggest problem for me was that they dumbed it down so much that no matter what anyone did it looked silly. That and the fact that most of the clips posted were pretty silly.

I expect that, regardless of the site's future, Sony will remain in the editing software game. Although there is a glut of competition out there, MovieStudio remains the most professional software for the money, I would expect the good word to continue to spread.

Dazzle also shut down their "community" I think. And Pinnacle's Studio OnLine site for some reason recodes everything you post so that it looks awful after you post it.

Anybody know of any other free (or cheap) sites where you can post 10 megs or so of video?

I ended up getting my own site where I post pictures and video (RealMedia) for my family overseas.

By the way, you will not get far with 10Mb ;-)

I, for one, spent about 30 seconds looking at the site when I cracked open the software, and that was all I needed to see to know it was pretty goofy. They probably should have shut it down a long time ago and used the money for something better!
