Comments garo wrote on 3/14/2005, 2:32 AM I'm running a comparitivly out-dated system with only 255 meg RAM eetc - render lot's of stuff up to 1 hour long and have never worried about or see any issues with the screensaver off or on .... //Garo Orcatek wrote on 3/14/2005, 5:48 AM Not a problem. Best one is the blank monitor as it uses no CPU. Avoid the 3D ones, as depending on your system they can use 25-95% CPU and really slow down the render. TheHappyFriar wrote on 3/14/2005, 9:48 AM Why even bother using a screensaver? Why not just turn the monitor off? fmc wrote on 3/14/2005, 11:40 AM Like thehappyfriar We also turn off the monitor - no problems ever encountered.
