If I have more than 19 scripts in my script directory, then I cannot add more than three icons to my script toolbar. Pretty weird, but true.
Actually, I can add the fourth icon, and it works, but as soon as I quit and restart Vegas, or if I Re-scan the script folder, the fourth icon disappears.
If I quit Vegas, and remove a few scripts from the script folder so that the folder contains fewer than 19 scripts, the icon re-appears when I next start Vegas.
Note: I have changed the location of the script folder from the default to the D:\Documents\My Videos\Vegas\ directory (I try to get all data and program settings into "My Documents" so I can easily back them up).
Thus, to recreate the bug, you must already have three script icons on the toolbar, and you must have 19 or more scripts in your script directory (this includes scripts in any subdirectory under the main script directory).
I admit that this is pretty obscure, and the only reason I am posting this here is that perhaps it might relate to other issues.
[Edit] in my original post, I didn't realize that I had four ".VB" scripts in addition to the ".JS" scripts so the point where the problem occurs is 24 scripts, not 19.
