script? remove 100 frames, make 101 frame 1 sec

im wondering if there is anything available for V7 or 8 that would remove X amount of frames, say 50 frames, and keep the 51st, and take that one frame, and stretch it to last one second, or half of a second... and keep on doing this.. throught your entire clip...
essentially, i want it to appear as stop motion photography... (picture snapshots)

thanks

Right-mouse-button click on the clip, go to properties, media. Set the undersample rate to 0.020.

thanks.. this is great
but i want it to remove chunks of video, so there is jump cuts to the next 'picture'
right now, it is playing everything, just choppy...

is there a script that can remove every 20 or 30 frames chunks, every 20 or 30 frames?

thank

Use a smaller undersample rate, then Ctrl-squish the end of the clip to the left to speed it up.

Yes there is. I know Excalibur can do it. Ultimate S may be able to do so as well.

johnmeyer figured it out for me! for those who are wondering the same as i...
use the "Render Image Sequence" script, the bottom field, enter how many snapshots you want... the higher the number, the jerkier it is...
works perfect, just what i was looking for
thanks everyone! esp john!
