script that removes spaces between displayed clips

Hi everybody,
in order to save time, it would be great to have a script who removes spaces between the clips in one second, so finally the selected clips, displayed on the timeframe, are linked together.

Excalibur and Ultimate S can both easily do this. There's probably some free scripts floating around that can do this as well.

Thanks for your reply. I am a beginner in this field, don't know Excalibur and would like to avoid spending money in new softwares: I am looking directly at the script formula but as far as today I didn't manage to find it on the web, that's why I've posted here...
