Script to add transitions to clips

I have a folder that has housands of video clips. I need a script that can take each file and add a video transition to the beginning and the end of each clip and output to a specified folder.

Hi... I guess this is not exactly what you want, but it may be usefull.

There is a script originally written for Vegas 4 that aplies transitions between as many files you want, since they are in the same project timeline. It's name is "ApplyTransition_1_1.js"

I don't remember the URL I've downloaded it, but you can find the link in this forum.

If you are running Vegas 6, the steps to make it work are:
1. Download the script
2. Open it using the notepad
3. The name "SonicFoundry" apears 3 times; change it to "Sony"
4. Move the file to the folder "Script Menu" in this path:

Program Files\Sony\Vegas 6.0\Script Menu

There is an old one posted here in the forum:

Transition.js

You'll have to change the import SoniFoundry to import Sony ...

I think he ("murk") posted a later version (I have a version on my computer dated January 6, 2004).
