Script to Capture Video

Hi,
In Sony Vegas 8.0a there is a capture button that captures video and saves it to harddrive.
However, can anyone please help me in finding/writing a vegas script in vegas pro 8.0a that can automatically capture video from my camera (SONY HD VCR) and save it to my desktop harddrive.

It's not really a scriptable process. You might be able to write a script that starts the external capturing app but it can't tell it to start capturing or where to capture.

Thanks for the info.
My other request would be, does any one have a script in C# that can atleast start the external capturing app if not capture the video. I have been trying to do that but with no success.

Isn't it just as easy to go to File - Capture as it would be to run the script???
