Script to Move event to Snap to left Event

Is there a way in Vegas (using a script or otherwise), to move a clip to the left so that it's leftmost edge is just next to the rightmost edge of it's leftside neighbour?

This would same be a LOT of dragging fo clips.

Example, I drop on an audio event (a song) and want to drag it to the left to be next to the leftmost audio clip. Any way to automate this to a shortcut key? any script that already does this?

1) Turn on Snapping and drag'n'drop a clip where you want?
2) Close Gaps command from Vegasaur toolkit

Timeline Tools has an extensive set of features that allow you to manipulate Events in your Vegas track. You can Add gaps between Events, Remove all gaps, or Overlap Events. At the same time you can also set Event Fade Type, and length if you choose. This can be done on all Events in the track or just selected Events. More Information.

Excalibur had the "Gap/Overlap" tool that will do this task with ease.
