Script to select pics from video?

Is there a script to extract a single frame of video every 'n' frames for a separate slide show project? I do Soccer vid for the teams and was looking for an easy way to include a slide show in their package with the videos.

Kind of. There is a script available on the Vegas download page that will do every frame. There is a script available at http://www.creativecow.net/articles/vegas_scripts.html that will save the image at each MARKER. So, you could go through your video, put markers on each scene you want saved, and then run this script. At the same location is another script that will place markers at a specific interval. These two could be combined to do what you want.

Jetdv, Thanks, I remember reading about the marker insert script, now that you mention it. This is the one that will save the time. It is interminable reviewing frames trying to select the best one. So I will trade time for perfection. Things seem so obvious when I'm lead by the hand. I'll try it and post back. Thanks for all you do for the group on the forum. I enjoy your newsletter.
