So far I've been very happy with Pro 8. However when I tried to run any script that came with Pro 8, I get the message "the located assembly manifest definition does not match the assembly reference". Any ideas short of reinstalling Pro 8? Thanks...
These are ones that came WITH Vegas Pro 8? Or these are ones you got from somewhere else? For example, are these .DLL scripts? If yes, they must be recompiled to work in Vegas 8.
I'm having trouble with all the scripts that came with Pro 8 and a couple others I used in Vegas 7. Celluloid from Vasst and Quake. In all cases in get the same error result.
Those are .dll scripts and would need to be recompiled. I believe all the VASST scripts HAVE been recompiled. You might try downloading the current version of celluloid. As for Vegas Quake, the author would have to recompile it and I'm not sure the original author is still around here.

Thanks Edward. Yes, ALL of the VASST scripts were recompiled to be compatible with Vegas Pro 8, even the Freeware scripts. Just go to the VASST website and download the demo of any scripts you own and it will update your purchased script to the latest level for Vegas Pro 8.
