Scripts????

What are the Scripts used for? I just bought Vegas 5 and i hear all this stuff about scripts. Can somebody tell me what the scripts are and what they are used for?

Scripts help automate tasks. If you find yourself doing the same operation over and over again, in many cases scripts can simplify that operation. Scripts can also add new functionality - for example, look at Excalibur, Tsunami, and Neon. For lots of information, look in my newsletters

The Triad of "Excalibur, Tsunami, and Neon" are just what the doctor ordered for getting Vegas to to jump up! - Just the multicam editing Wizard in Excalibur, to name but one, is marvellous. You need to do voice overs? Easy! Excalibur again! Lost a bit of video for a piece opf audio - Orphan Wizard! Oh yeah the other way around too! Lost the Audio for a piece of video? Orphan comes to the rescue!

There is also a wealth of scripts availabe at many sites now, and MORE scripts by the week! Have you had a look at the Vegas Scripting Forum? - Give yourself a few hours and you will see what others are gaining from them . .. .
