Scroll Bars are Missing

Just loaded Vegas 6 and am finding a few things odd.
Most immediately notable is that my horizontal and vertical scroll bars are missing.
Where the horizontal scroll would be, I have a black bar. The verticle is a gray bar. I can move my mouse around and find the ends, but it's hunting in the dark.
Should I remove Vegas 6 and reload? or am I missing something?

Grab 6.0a from the SONY site. My build (trial version) shows 99.

But...
Unfortunately, under Build 99 (Vegas 6a), my scroll bars haven't changed. I installed and rebooted and still have that mess. No change.

I'd report it to Sony tech support. Could it be your graphics card and v6a?
Hmmm... odd.
I see no problem with 6a on Win2K-SP4 and a Matrox G450DH.

Got it covered now. Your coment about which graphics card you use made me wonder when the last time I updated my Nvidia drivers was. So I updated those and it all seems to work now.

Bugger!
The Phantom Scroll Bars are back.
I just booted up Vegas6a and, at first it told me that the Default Library couldn't be found. I said OK and that went away. But my scroll bars are back to being invisible.
I rebooted and got no Library error, but the bars are still gone.
Is no one else experiencing this? I would have thought I'd see it posted here if so... Must be me and my Nvidia! Grrr...
(see... I have these illusions that Vegas is flawless... So I get irked when I see a problem...)

6.0a cured this for me and I have nVidia 5300 which is PCIe. Is your 6a installed correctly? Maybe remove all Vegas and install 6.0a afresh.

In Vegas' General Prefs page try turning of Windows Theme support. (Near the bottom of the list.)
