Scrolling Text like on ESPN or CNN

I have been trying to figure out how to add scrolling text like on CNN or ESPN. We wanted to add warnings and comments to some videos. But we can not figure out how to add left to right non stoping text.

Go to select text. Type out what you want using only 1 line. Then you have to use keyframes to drag the text from start to finish.

Thanks for the help. It is a little difficult, there should be a easier way to do the text. I watched the video you made. Shows alot of things you can do with the software. Great Video.

Thankyou...Im not sure why they didnt make it easier..even though I use the keyframes right it seems like my text sometimes speeds up or slows down. If I get the technique down ill let you know

Could it seem like it is speeding up or slowing down because of the illusion created when the text is on top of moving video behind it? Or maybe it's a streaming issue from the source online?
