Scrolling text question

Hi all,

I am using the scrolling text feature in Vegas, but I have approx 50 or so names that I need to scroll. I would like to copy and paste the entire list at once in to the scrolling effect, but it only seems to let me put one name in at a time, or it lists them in one big long line across the screen.

It works fine if I put one name per box, but it'll take forever to get them all in this way.

Does anyone know of any work arounds, or if I can put a comma or something between each name as a line break?

Just highlight the list, one name per line, from your source, then paste them into one blank on the credit roll screen. New lines will be added containing one line of the source file each.

Thanks Chienworks, but that doesn't seem to work for me, I only get the 1st line when I try that.

if you do it like this:

Name Here <tab> Name Here

it will put these as 2 names per line. I normaly do this from a text file (not a doc, word, word perfect, open office, etc). Works good!

Hi Guys,

I figured out what I was doing wrong! :-)

This is what I did and it worked. I highlighted a few of the text boxes that I had there already and hit "control v" it then created new boxes with all of the names in the boxes, like I wanted! :-)
