I have worked with Premiere for years. When I started using Vegas, there was hardly a learning curve. Basically, Vegas just worked the way I have wanted Premiere to behave for years. So I've picked up Vegas very quick.
The *one* thing that I can't get used to from Premiere is the Vegas scrub tool. I keep wanting to just scrub direclty in the timeline by dragging the cursor. I know VV3 has new key commands to scrub in the timeline area, but it is still a "relative" scrub, not an "absolute" scrub. This is the one feature of Premiere that I still find actually more handy and useful than in Vegas.
