I'd like to bump this topic up, as I've been considering getting SCVE certification under V8 and would therefore be interested in these details for the future. :)

As one i am curious too.. i'm sure if that was the case there will be a training class offered to obviously update current certified users to the new features and tools, plus some time to become fluent . Its one of the reasons I have preorderd the VASST DVD on V8. Its has proven that the cost of the DVD is easly recouped in time savings of learning new features etc... (coming from someone who plays first and reads manual later....)
Ill upgrade on monday...play with it for a few days until the DVD arrives, then incorporate 8 into my daily workflow.....that is unless i get spoiled imeadiatly by the M2t smartrender.

on top of that I would still pay to go to a recert class, even w/o the cert those classes are worth every penny and then some!

You'll never take my SCVE. Over my dead body. You'll have to pry it out of cold, Shuttle-pro gripping hands. I'm not taking the monogram off my shirts and towels either. Don't even think about asking me to remove etching from my windshield. This is where my I make my Stand.

Wolverines!

I am, however, willing to get rid of the tattoo. I was a callow youth back then and it was an immature gesture and it is beneath my dignity as certified editor.

"Certified" or "certifiable"?
