I got in my second A1 today and attached to the outside of the box was a Sony Demo CD including acid/cd Architect/DVDA/Noise Red. 2.0/Soundforge/Vegas/ Movie Studio/ Loops/ Vision Series/ Sound effects, etc.
The second disc was Avid Xpress with Avid Mojo.
The third was Edius by Canopus (demo).
The final disc was Cineform Aspect HD with a 15 day trial.

I didn't get any of these with the first one but in going with some of the other threads that have come along in the recent months- it would have been good for Madison to ship out demo discs of Vegas+DVDA on a seperate disc to be included with the lot- or better yet, maybe even have them work out something with Sony- the makers of the A1- to exclusively package the Vegas+DVDA software with the camcorder. Again, I know that Sony is in a since like the Citi Group- tons of little companies making up a big one, but this would seem to be a win win move for Sony.
On the other hand, it may not make much of a difference as I don't know that anybody would by a camera over 2,000 USD without first having software to edit with.
