Secondary Preview Device

I have a ATi Radeon 9250 256MB graphics card. I have my original moniter attatched to the graphics card, and I have a secondary monitor on my intigrated graphics chip. When I go to Vegas to specify the 2nd monitor for my preview device, it sees it and I think that I've got it all right. But then, I press "Preview on External Monitor" and nothing happens. Any ideas.

There's a slightly different procedure for configuring a secondary preview device.
I've never done it but the instructions are on p. 301 in the Vegas (6.0d) manual.

If Vegas is seeing the card than check to make sure you have "recompress edited frames" clicked on.
