I have never used any of the YUV codecs in Vegas but I am very curious as they seem to have certain merits.

Over the years I have seen mention of the HuffYUV codec and see that there are several version that people are using. I have a Vista 64 system and plan to stay with Vegas 32 for quite a while. My questions are:

1) Which version is Vista compatible? I noticed that some of the INF files for various version of HuffYUV refer to the obsolete WinNT directory path. I assume that they are not Vista friendly.

2) If there is an appropriate Vista version of the codec, will it allow me to play the clips in WMP?

3) I see that Vegas includes the Sony YUV and Intel IYUV codecs. How do these compare to the Huffman version?

4) WMP can play clips created with Intel IYUV but not Sony YUV. Is this normal?

5) Lastly, do these all have the same color space resolution?
