Select a Frame as Button?

Ok, I give up . . how do I close in on ONE frame to choose as a Button? I can't get the cursor or scrubber to isolate just the frame I want - it leaps about the place . . Vegas Movie Studio lets me scroll and scrub through the video, holding down the CTRL key I can creep through one frame at a time. Where's this In DVDA3c .. .I know it is gonna be me!

Oh yes, I know I can do a frame steal .. But while I'm in DVDA3c and I'm scrubbing . . ? Yes?

Grazie

You can specify the absolute time on the properties for the still image. Just get close with the slider and then put in the actual value.

You're really doing this the hard way though. If you want just a single frame, go into Vegas, find the frame and save the picture out to use.

That's what i always do. I found DVDA's frame selection to be way too annoying and time consuming. I'll run through the video with Vegas, find the frames i want to use, and save them as .jpg files. Then i replace the media for the buttons in DVDA with these saved frames. It sounds like a lot of work, but it's really very fast and straight-forward.
