Selecting Media Temp freezes Vegas 9.0d

Hi folks,

Not sure how to describe this so bare with me....

Since updating to 9.0D no whenever I select a file from the Explorer window (above the time line) Vegas will 'freeze' for a second as it is trying to find the correct filters to determine the video format. It does not matter what format the video is... it happens when I select DV (avi), AVCHD, Cineform (avi), Blackmagic HD Codec (avi). etc

It also appears that this makes load times for projects take longer as well. It is not the end of the world bug - just makes me wait a little longer... but I was wondering if I was the only one seeing this?

Cheers,
Chris

Yes i noticed this and I assume this is related to the long load times of VEG files, clicking on a media file causes a long pause until its information is displayed.

I also noticed that sometimes my new 9D VEG ( was a 9C) file takes ages to load and other times it opens instantly, no obvious reason.
