Selection Menu Problem

I have 6 titles on my selection menu on page 2, but none of them are highlighted indicating they are ready to be played or selected. Using any remote, I have not been able to select (navigate) any of them. The same thing occurs in my preview window.

I deleted the pic but not the text associated with the video chapter thinking that this would not matter. Shouldnt one of them be highlighted automatically by DVDA??
Your help will be greatly appreciated.

They may of been set to have an image only mask, not text. So then nothing would show. Select a button & check it's highlight properties.

Don't delete the image. Right click each button, or a group of selected buttons, and change the button type to text only. I suspect you just have a bunch of text objects composited on your background, with no existing buttons.

Thanks guys for the help ! One last dilemma tho: I chose to use the underline hilite for my text only buttons and they all appear in DVDA. However, after previewing my DVD on my TV, only page one has the hilites and not the scene selection buttons.

I believe I was thorough when comparing page one to page two but I obviously have overlooked something very simple. I hate to impose on everyone for this newbie type goof, but as you know the "help" file is a vast wasteland. *S*

I think my problem was not understanding color sets and the relationship between the general tab of the menu page and the color set tab on the button properties. I havent yet burned my test DVD but now I believe everything is the same. Wish me luck ! *S*

I'll let you know the results (here's hoping). Without your help this would be a daunting endeavor. *S*
