Self Extract Sonic Foundry isn't working?

I can't extract file Vegas Video 4 Demo. Windows XP wrote:

Unable to write to the directory in d:\doc and seting\vic\local setting\temp\.
Check that you have write access to this directory.

But any other programs install succesfully.

Can i change this directory in Windows or Self Extractor?

Help me, please.

Have you checked that the directory in question or the drive itself is not too full??

This drive is 2 Gb free.
I extract this file in Win98SE, setup was sucessfully.
May by Self Extract Vegas is not correct?

Hello

I had the same problem. I have two XP System partition.
And I could only install it from one of them.

Lucky me it worked on my video partition.

Some programs require you to be logged on as administrator.
