I want to post more embedded wmv files on my website, but I would like to show a thumbnail from within the video when the page comes up. Right now, all embedded tags I've seen always show the controls and the video is positioned at frame 1. For most of us, that is a black frame. My problem is, my page background is also black. I'd ideally like to be able to specify (as an <embed> or <object> parameter) a frame or seconds position to show as a thumbnail when the html page is loaded.

Very similar, actually to what Jay's page at http://www.gooddogproductions.com/samples.htm looks like, except the video would start playing right where it is instead of opening a new window.

Does anyone know of a way to do this by specifying a frame or time position of the file that is to be played?
