Separate audio and video files

I am trying to put two short videos on a DVD with DVDAS. It is my first attempt to use DVDA.

I rendered the audio and video separately -- as the program suggests. Then I create a media event in the menu (rt click or drag) and retitle. What am I supposed to do with the audio? If I drop the audio on top of it, it says "multiple events in button" when I go to burn. Also, editing the text is difficult. If I drop the audio and video on the timeline, I don't seem to get the play to function properly - text from the base menu appears over a movie. What is supposed to be the procedure. Also, do I need to add an end action to each video to go back to the Menu? When I click the "broken link" and try to add something to go back to the main menu, I find all files except the main menu listed. Why is it not listed? Can it be added?

There is no information I can find in the help file for joining the audio to video in the program. I understood it is supposed to do this automatically but if I don't drag it on there somewhere I get no sound

If your Mpeg file and AC3 file have the same name (except for the extension, of course), and are in the same directory, you need only add your video and DVDA will find the audio atumatically.
