sequence of tga problem in 6.0b

I opened my .veg file from another computer that is networked to the computer my project is on. Everything opens fine exept for the tga sequences. Only the first picture openes up...it does not open the entire sequence (It does if I open it on the computer that the project is on). Is this a bug or is it some kind of networking limitation?

Maybe TGA requires the use of quicktime... and it is not installed on your other machine?

I've had a similar issue with network rendering and BMP files - which also need quicktime for Vegas to use.

targa and bmp files (targa for sure and i think for bmp) do not require quicktime - vegas opens both natively

BUT - what you have is a known issue (by me anyway) , same thing happens if you try to replace one file seq with another -- doesnt work ..

easy easy fix ...... load file seq. in second vegas and frame serve out (make sure project settings are same as targas) to first vegas and just use "replace" function in media manager ... works like a charm
