sequencer please!

I give SF full props for Acid and Vegas 1.0, which I've
used for a while and loved. For audio, I like it far better
than Cubase, Logic, etc. However, for sequencing, I have to
use these other programs with their lame-o UI's, and then
import the audio. I was really hoping that Vegas 2.0 would
have sequencing abilities, and I actually feel rather let
down that V2.0 seems to offer precious little in the way of
improvements (as a V1.0 user who already owns enough plug-
in effects, what does V2.0 really offer me?).

Are there any plans for a sequencer release?

I don't mind this at all, infact I also dislike cubase,Logic, and
cakewalk for sequencing. My solution to this problem was to run 2
PC's, 1 with Vegas and Acid on it for audio and the other has
Opcode's Studio Vision, which in my opinion is still the best midi
sequencing program, although they've been discontinued. When I run
Acid, I send Vision a midi beat clock and they run together nicely.
Then when I'm done I layoff the Acid Tracks and open them up in Vegas
and then send Vision Midi Time Code and lay off my sequenced tracks
and then record vocals and mix in Vegas. You can run a slower
machine just running studio vision, because it is midi only on the PC
side. I did hear though, through the grapevines that Logic Audio was
working on making their sequencer a lot like Studio Vision's because
there are so many musicians out there that still love Vision and are
having a hard time changing to Logic. I don't know, this way of
working just made since to me, because that's the way I was use to
working when I recorded to DA-88's, Adats, or 2 inch...so now I just
replaced these multitracks with Vegas. I wasn't able to ever get
those midi yokes and such programs to work puting sequencing and
audio on the same PC.
