Serial Numbers Don't Match to Upgrade

New boxed version of Vegas Movie Studio + DVD purchased 7 days ago. Trying to get updates to install for Movie Studio and DAS and my serial numbers supplied in the documentation do not match the numbers shown on the help screen, that do not match what the upgrade says the number needs to start with.

Help with - 'The Secret Word' the 'Magic Web Site', the'Magic Telephone Number' to be able to update Movie studio 4.0 and Dvd Architecture 2.0.

Can't say whether I have a fully working product if I'm not working with the same level software as everyone else cause things are not working per the pdf manuals. Thanks Ed

Well, it says it updated this time without a serial number requirement but the build stayed at 22 while the software update screen says DAS 2.0b should be at build (130).

So....... First 'How to do?.....

I have one video captured via Movie Studio. It previews just fine in DAS and will even create a good DVD. But, I'm try to add scene selections for about 9 chapters, and it has but........... the first scene is the only one which has the audio stream attached to it. While double clicking on the workspace for the other scenes, the audio does play.

But in preview..... only the main menu and the first scene has audio when selected through the remote feature and that is how the produced DVD turns out.

The DVD size is at 4.3 G at this point but it does burn sucessfully.

How do I get the audio stream which is part of the video to be linked (attached) to the other 8 scenes?

Help!!!!!!

There doesn't appear to be an updated to DVD Architect Studio. The build 130 you mention is for the full version of DVD Architect 2.0b. This is a different (and much much more expensive) program than DVD Architect Studio. You don't have a serial number for it because you only paid for the Studio version.

Thanks..... Just my poor reasoning of the products version numbering system.

And the other stuff about the missing audio is found out to be my problem as well. In my wisdom of saving a video file another name to be safe as to not have to re-capture it. I defeated one of the documented rules of having the audio and video being of the same to have it automatically be propagated through the DVD process. Having done so....... everything is fine now.

Thanks to all who have helped my start-up. Much quicker than tech support email right now.
