Serious Crashing Problem

I've been trying to work on a new project using WMV and WMA files. This process has repeated itself twice: I start the project and everything works fine, I get about four minutes of video done, and then the program crashes or I exit Vegas Movie Studio Platinum edition. Then when I reload the project this happens:

The project loads as usual, and then once it gets to a certain point, it crashes. This happens everytime. Can anyone help me?

Truth is, Vegas is mostly optimized for camcorder footage editing, not delivery-grade codecs. I would suggest you file a bug report at Sony, using the online form.

Wild guess that your project file (.vf) could be corrupt, or SVMS isnt' able to handle the input that you've given it, or your system isn't up to par in terms of system requirements for the version of software you have, or you don't have the latest update for the version that you have...so many possibilities. You're going to have to eliminate possibilities one at a time. As Eugenia suggested, getting Sony support involved would be a good first step.
