Set Time At Cursor

I happened across a minor problem that I'll post here in hopes that someone has a fix or the Sony development folks read this forum and will correct it in next release.

If you go to: Options- Ruler Format - Set time at Cursor. The new value isn't saved; it must be reintered each time you start Vegas.

click save before you close and the value is saved. at least it works for me

Thanks Winrock. I do save, but it doesn’t work for me.

I can think of a couple of possibilities. Perhaps we are using a different version. I have 5.0b. Is there something more recent?

Also I am doing a couple of things together that might complicate the issue. I have turned on the metronome because I want to sync pictures to music. I reset the beats per minute to match the music. The music changes tempo after a few measures so I use the Set Time at Cursor feature to shift the metronome to match the music when the shift occurs. I then hit save. When I reopen Vegas both the metronome tempo and the Set Time at Cursor are lost. Interestingly, when I Set Time at Cursor again, the metronome tempo adjusts as well. So the system does remember the tempo but doesn’t use it until I Set Time.

I have never used the metronome, so when i said works for me ,it does , without the metronome.
started messing around with the metronome and the set time at curser, and vegas crashed, so i would say there is an issue. I will continue not using the metronome now.
