Setting b-pyramid to none

I am using Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 11.0 and DVD Architect Studio 5.0 to burn a Blu-Ray and am seeing jittery or jerky images in the burned Blu-Ray disc. Looking at several posts, it appears that many have had success in eliminating this issue by setting b-pyramid to none. I would like to try this but I have no idea how to access this setting. I looked at the "Preferences", "Options", "Properties" in both Vegas Movie Studio and in DVD Architect and looked at both the general settings and render settings - I could not find anything that references b-pyramid or b-frames. Do I need to purchase a different rendering tool?

I have used Sony Vegas and DVD Architect to successfully create several DVDs but this is the first time I am trying to create a Blu-Ray disc. I apologize if this is a "noob" question.

b-pyramid may not be available in Platinum. You may need to use Vegas Pro to be able to access that setting. Here is a thread from over at the Cow with some information.

Setting b-pyramid to none should not have an effect on modern players or preview in Vegas.

It's a legacy issue, which like so many others of its type, affects a small proportion of users.

That said, I upload a stripped main profile version to YouTube (no b-pyramid and no weight-p), simply because I think it takes less time for the YouTube servers to process than say, high profile, nor is it much bigger..

It wasn't that many years ago that any b-frame support in iPhones was nonexistent.
