Setting problem? Question please

Okay, so i imported my footage and then my chromakey behind it....
but when my actor gets placed on the track above, she does, yes appear on the footage----HOWEVER--- for some reason, it is cutting off about half of her body- i had her stand in front of the green screen, but her body is cut off....it is almost like you are watching a widescreen movie, and how everything below the "fold" is cut off-- is that some setting i need to adjust? thanks

Make sure the actor doesn't wear the same color as the green screen, and you can adjust the sensitivity with the plugins' controls too.

she had blue jeans on.... it's just weird....it is cut off, like a widescreen video

Was the screen on the back blue as well? If yes, then that's your problem.

Are all the pieces the same format? If the original video is wide screen, are your Vegas project settings and the video of your daughter also widescreen? If any of them don't match, some widescreen and some full screen, you'll get bizarre results like that.

You probably want to set the project to match the original music video's settings. If the video of your daughter doesn't match then go into pan/crop on that clip, right-mouse-button click inside the frame, and choose 'match output aspect'. That should get them all to line up properly.

sorry-- so i right click and select video event pan crop? then what? some window comes up....
