Settingup negative time for trax?

I am using a computer in a studio that is running cd
architect and was wondering how to achieve this.
I need to place a small wave between two song waves as a
negative countdown number. The song changes to the track
no.,then it plays the small part as it counts down negative
till it gets to end of wave that changes to positive
no.then the song starts.
Clues?
Thanx

darr, I think this will work: assemble the .wav files in
the proper order (including the file you want to
countdown). By default CDA puts track begin and end markers
back to back--but you can drag them individually anywhere
you want. So end one track at the beginning of your
countdown file and begin the next at the end of your
countdown file. The track gap should show as a countdown in
your CD player.

One caveat from my experience: I did this for a live
concert CD, putting applause in the space between tracks.
The countdowns and playback were perfect on my CD player at
home, however, on a friend's CD player all the sound
between tracks was muted, which, of course, made it sound
ridiculous. So check for compatibility in a few CD players
before you burn a bunch of disks. - Doug
