I am a Vegas Pro user. I would like to upgrade to Vegas Audio. I have an
oppertunity to purchase Vegas Video (Brand New) for a great price. I do
not need Video in any way at all!!!!! I have been told that audio apps in
Vegas Video are IDENTICAL to those in Vegas Audio. If that is true, is
there any reason to avoid VVideo if I intend to use only for audio??
Is there additional use on systems when using Vegas Video that would not be
present in Vegas Audio?? I need the straight pooooop on this please.
Any Thoughts?? Thanks

Let this give you a hand: I installed Vegas Audio. Looked good, but strangely familiar to Vegas Video. Installed Vegas Video. It installed into same directory and completely replaced VA. Installing VV only added functionality.

VA is a subset of VV. If you can get a better price on VV, go for it.

(BTW: Yes, I do own both products.)

dpearce is correct. The Vegas Video user gets all, 100%, of the Vegas Audio feature set.
