Let me add the EzBus to your list. My concern is the lack of
suport for USB. I can see how the lack of Midi would limit the
use of transport controls for these units, but right now (correct
me if I'm wrong) Sonic Foundry doesn't support USB audio I/O.
This makes these devices usless if you want to bypass a sound
card for audio I/O. I hope this is something they are working on
now.

I have been using a Roland UA-100 Audio Canvas(USB)
successfully with Vegas Pro Audio/Video for over a
year now. I beleive it has to do with the manufacturers
(Roland in my case) writing the proper USB audio drivers
to interface with audio apps within the MS operating
systems specs(Win98 & WinME in my case). My audio apps (
Cakewalk PA,Vegas Video SF5.0,ACID) recognize my USB audio
driver the same as my Delta 66 PCI audio driver. They co-
exist wonderfully and I just pick which ones I want to
playback or record to at any given time.
