SF rendering when opening file in Vegas?

Is it OK to open a file(project) in Vegas while Sound Forge is rendering?
Do I risk causing glitches in my rendered files?

It shouldn't cause any glitches. I'm doing the opposite, rendering in Vegas while opening files in Sound Forge for Noise Reduction.
