SFVIDCAP Capture log conversion

I recently captured 50 tapes using Movie Studio HD Platinum 10.
Some of the tapes were DV, so they were captured with the Sony Video capture 6.0.
SVC has a great log with all possible information stored for the individual clips (time stamps, size, time codes, format etc) - that is as long as you stay inside the tool.
If you try to open the *.sfvidcap into eg Excel, it doesn't work.
No success trying to copy/paste the fields in the window.

Any experience on how to get the information from the -sfvidcap format to a format which can be handled on a pc?

This has been brought up many times on the forums....that is correct you cannot read a vidcap file except by the editors that create them.

However, and I am fairly certain, about this, you can copy and paste the contents of an open window with a certain technique that some forum members discovered. I recall it has something to do with selecting the column borders, but sorry to say I don't remember exactly.

You should search VPro forum with term Excel or perhaps .csv export.

Thanks. Didn't find anything, though.
The only field which can be copied is the name of the clip, and this only one by one. The reason is probably that you can select and rename each clip.
