Shadow pages veg from Johnny Royon 03/30/03

I have downloaded the 3D-LE plug-in, and the Shadow Pages veg. I'm not understanding how to replace the generated media with my own videos with out losing the Fx info for each keyframe. Also, to simply run the veg in preview it only displays each color full screenwith no Fx applied. Am I missing the obvious and supporting my wife's thesis about missing the forest because of the trees? Thanks in advance for your advice. John

Doesn't adding as takes do the trick?

(Drag the clip from the media pool with the right mouse button onto the event in the timeline and select Add as takes from the pop-up menu).

Yes, that worked to add my videos to the timeline! The FX remained on my videos, but the Fx didn't work. Is there another switch or button to engage? Thanks John

Are you looking at the preview window? I think it's the split screen view button right next to the Video output Fx button above the preview window. (It's on that tiny toolbar above your preview monitor. ) I hope that helps.

The other thing to try is replacing the media in the media pool. Just right click on Color 1, 8, 9 or 10 in the media pool and select the Replace... option and then select the clip or jpg you want to replace it with. This works for me.

Color 2, 4 and 5 are not used and can be deleted (sorry). I will clean up the .veg file and repost it as soon as I rebuild my web site. (The program I use to maintain my site crashed and took my local copy with it. I’m in the process of rebuilding the site with another tool so it will be a few more days)
