SheerVideo Codec support

I am trying the Windows beta of the SheerVideo Codec. It shows up under the Render options fine but no matter what setting I choose it will instantly shoot to about 10% and than stop/crash with the error "A error occured while converting with a codec" (Well duh!). Vegas doesn't crash - just the codec. Was wondering if this is something being looked into Vegas 4 wise or if anyone has tested it with, um...er...Vegas 5?

I couldn't comment on anything but Vegas 4, but try rolling back your version of QT to 6.0 or earlier. Same with Premiere Pro, it crashes there too, with earlier versions. Bitjazz has had it together for the mac for a while...their 10 bit is great in FCP.
I'm only using the RGB, did one render with the 4:2:2 on some DVC Pro footage. Damn but it's slow...Looks good though. It's not as fast as they claim it to be. Really great people there, they want to see this work.
