Shifting entire volume envelope?

Is it possible in Vegas (or is a script available) to move the audio volume envelope up or down be certain number of db's, using just a single control point ? Sometimes you adjust your audio creating a number of control points, only to realize that the overall dynamic range is greater than the -6 -+6db range...

Why not just adjust the volume level on the track header? That will change them all.

using the envelope tool you can select all the points & move them however you want.

Thanks - the envelope tool, select all - voila ! - the whole envelope is moving.

One is learning all life :)

You could also use Bus tracks (Insert / Audio Bus) and send audio tracks through the Bus track. Then you can create your fine tuned fades and pans and later if you need to bump everything up or down by the same amount you can make adjustments to the Bus track. For detailed information on that see help topic "Creating a Submix Using Busses".
