Shifting the Timeline

Hi All,

I'm having problems moving my timeline over by 5 minutes to make some room for an intro. I have 11 tracks and the length is about 1 hour. I used both the Select All (Edit, Select All) or the Selection Edit tool to highlite the entire project, then I tried to move the timeline by pressing the PgnDn, but nothing happens.

In another project I have that is somewhat considerably smaller project, I am able to move it using the above tests.

I'm thinking that Vegas might have a bug with large projects. Any other idea?

Thanks

I'm using Vegas 4.0d.

Turn on Ripple edit.
Park the cursor at the head of the project, drag the new intro media to that point. Everything will shift downstream.
Or
Turn on ripple, move the first clip in the project to where you want it downstream on the timeline, and everything else will shift
Be sure you have "ALL TRACKS/Markers/etc selected in the ripple drop down.
Or
park the cursor where you want the intro to go.
Go to Insert>Time, input the length of time you want to be there.
