Ship Vs. Download

Is there any way to cancel my order (online) so that I can order the download instead. My beta has died and since the projects do not work with VV2 I can't get into one that I need to use this week. I'm happy enough to download it as I only ordered the CD out of convenience (I didn't see the part where it was not shipping right away). Should I call on the phone to cancel the original order?

Thanks,

Tom

you need to contact customer support / sales. this is a user forum... and us users can't help you there. sorry! customer support is usually helpful to me... i'm sure they'll understand.

I understand, but I did try to contact them and they ignored me a couple of times. I know that some support types from SF hang here so I figured I'd give this a shot. I thought about trying to download the demo, but it's such a big file that I didn't want to go to that trouble just to find out it wouldn't work (crippled somehow). I'll probably call. Frankly, I think this sort of stinks. If they knew they weren't goin going to ship they should have extended the beta copies or allowed both download and boxed versions in a single purchase. This is the first time I've been a little miffed at SF. They responded to my email (with a robot reply) that they'd get back to me and then they didn't. This is the first time I've had to use their support since purchasing. I'm not impressed.
