Can't usually import flash's format, SWF, into most programs. However, more and more are coming around as flash is really getting noticed. There is an app called SWF to Video I treid once that was great. I just googled that and got some other stuff, this included: http://www.golddownload.com/ADShareit_SWF_to_Video_Converter_Download_26437.html but I haven't tested it.

You can also export from flash as MOV but I haven't had much success with that.

I think you can import this into Vegas' little brother, Screenblast. You could then create an AVI file using that, and go from there.

I recommend two programs for this:

1. Flash Movie Extract Pilot - This prog analyses your computer and lets you save all the flash movies which are cached on your drive into SWF files. This is good because a lot of sites disable the right click save as...

2. After that use Magic Swf2Avi to convert them to AVI.

Any search will lead you to these programs.

I will go out on a limb here and say that Vegas 5 will support Flash...and my guess is somehow you would be able to work with it to export for DVDA that way. I do not know if you will be able to actually *import* flash projects however.

Maybe someone out there with access to V5 can shed some light. I'd think the feature to import SWF files would make this version.....

Yes if screenblast can do this and the way the web is moving, Flash video is quickly becoming the player of choice due to its widespread compatability, I do not see why Flash output would not be incorporated in V5.

You will not be able to import .fla files as this is a Macromedia format, but the ability to output swf should be a priority, especially if Screenblast already does this....

I have DVDA2 and it can use a SWF object, however I am having a hell of a time trynig to get them to anti-alias.

I'm tired of using winmpg convert to take them to mpg or similar. Anyone got any tips?
