Short Feature insurance

Where have those have have made short features recieved there production insurance from?

Never used them for a feature, but have used them for doccos in NYC, and have used them for musical tours.

Just curious... have you ever had to make a claim?

Nope. Came REALLY close once, when some cable at a hotel wasn't really flat. It was taped on ends, and then heavy rubber mat over the cables, which were about 1" high. (It was the 6 gauge AC mains feed)
Anyway, a woman in the hotel was wearing spike heels. She walked past two signs that said that we were shooting, and was not watching where she was going. Heel caught the bump in the cable, and down she went. She threatened several times, but fortunately, the hotel caught it all on camera, and even the hotel attorneys told her she didn't have a case. Her attorney apparently advised her to drop the issue. And thankfully, she did.
Normally, we're only concerned about starting a fire, or a jib falling on someone.
