Shortcut or Script to rename takes?

Hi everyone.

I like to jot down event-specific notes which I used to put in markers. Unfortunately of course, the markers don't stay with the event they're supposed to.

I was thinking that I might be able to use take names for this kind of event-specific information, but a pre-requisite would be a keyboard shortcut (or script?) to open up the "rename active" box.

Is there such a thing?

I think I answered my own question...

In Options/Preferences/Keyboard, select the appropriate command (in this case, Edit.Take.RenameActive) from the Available commands and then assign it to whatever key one wishes.

Awesome in its simplicity.
