SHOT IN DV MODE, CANNOT PLAY BACK IN CORRECT SPEED

Hi, I've been using this software for more than a year. I shoot with a Sony HDR-HC3 HDV mini DV Camcorder. I normally shoot on the setting of HDV...though, for some reason, I switched the mode to DV...and, shot a legal deposition in the DV mode. Now, after capturing the video with Vegas Platinum, and setting the video preferences from HDV to DV...I cannot seem to get the video to play back at the correct speed. Like I said, I normally shoot on the HDV mode, but shot on the DV mode for this project...and, now the video during playback is all boxes and the audio is slow. I've created several projects before...all of which were set and shot on the HDV mode. How is it that I cannot seem to play back the video in the DV mode? I know it's probably something minor, but I've spent most of today trying to figure out why the DV video is not playing back in the correct speed. Please let me know how this is happening?? If I shoot in the DV mode, instead of the HDV mode, then in Vegas Studio, I change the project settings from NTSC wide screen to just normal NTSC DV. I am not doing something right?? Please reply ASAP!! Thanks and have a good one!! ---- kjbgator99
