Need some advice. I'm a hobbyist video editor only and use Vegas 3.0 for home movies, etc. I love 3.0 as I upgraded from a "lesser" program.

I was looking over the new features for 4.0 and don't really see a lot that I would need], to be quite honest. Is Vegas 4.0 faster, with a better MPEG2 encoder? Are there any other advantages to upgrading other than the new feature set?

I would really love to be able to use Adobe plug-ins. I guess Satish is working on this, which is great! The other thing I would like is real time rendering. That is, as soon as I place an event on the timeline it would start rendering automatically in the background.
