Should Vegas have MIDI, DXi, and VSTi support?

Would you favor the idea of making MIDI, DXi, and VSTi support a separate plug-in for Vegas, like the Cinescore plug-in? Or would you rather it was integrated into Vegas like Soundforge's XFX series.

If Vegas acquired MIDI support, would YOU use it? And if you would, how so?

If Vegas acquired MIDI support, integrated or as a plug-in, do you think it would negatively impact the ACID market? Do you think it would positively impact the Vegas market?

I wouldn't use MIDI support in Vegas.
I'm no musician.
But being able to Rewire a MIDI app into Vegas (the best multitracker around) I can see as being very useful, even to me. Get someone to compose the MIDI and I can mix it and possibly make some minor tweks if needed.

I'd love it.. Midi only.. i think they shoudl focus on video and stick with it.. too much might not be a good thing IMO..

But for midi controllers within Vegas, id love to be able to alocate effects and effect paramters, volume parameters etc etc to specific Conroller channels on my workstation and tweak it live.
Id also love to be able to tweak my surround pans using pressure pads as opppsed to a mouse.. and as u exert more pressure, teh pan also recognises the volume levels, so u have your position AND gain levels tweked on the fly

Rewire woul dbe ok i think... triggering midi loops and sequences at certain marker points would come in handy.. and save from having thse prereorced... but also a Virtual audio cable would come in handy to be able to re-reoute the audio BACK INTO vegas.... i think VAC is somewhere on this site as a free downlaod.. no sure..

i use outboard gear and just route it all into the pc.. everything else is done live.. from tweaks to pattern changes etc etc and recorded into Vegas or soundforge during the final master
