You can only view track motion keyframes in the timeline, not event keyframes.

Those who responded above are referring to the sync cursor button in fx windows or the pan/crop window.

To elaborate: if the sync cursor is turned on, then you can park the cursor on the timeline and open whatever tools or effects you want and where the cursor position falls in that particular event will be represented, thereby making it possible to make keyframe changes on multiple events at the same point in the timeline.

Gary, please explain,"...thereby making it possible to make keyframe changes on multiple events at the same point in the timeline." . .it's the "at the same time" that I'm not understanding . . . where do I see the events and thier respective effects appearing?

Say I've got four tracks with events one under the other. Each one has an Fx effect applied. T/L Cursor is covering all 4 tracks. Where do I see the collective Fxs of each and every 4 events ? :-( I can see Fxs T/L on "separate" Events, if I go INTO each events Fx T/L . . . please elaborate ..

I have found that Track FX Keyframes are also viewable from the time line (not just motion). I found this by accident last week while working on a single clip after opening it in a new version of vegas. It was very easy to work this way. However, I also found that the FX I applied were gone after re-inserting the clip back to the original TimeLine (I’m sure because the FX were applied to the track only, and copying/removing the clip from that track left the FX in the dust).

Therefore, I was hoping for some advice for working with FX in the future.

How should I best approach applying FX considering I like so very much the fact that Track FX Keyframes are visible on the timeline? What would be the advantages/disadvantages to applying my FX last, after all is pretty much in order?
