I cannot see the Show Selection Length (normally in the lower right of the timeline toolbar) for some reason the field is missing in Vegas 21, All I see is the start and end of a selection on the timeline. It existed in my earlier versions of VP.

@rraud What if you assign a keyboard shortcut for Edit.Selection.Length in the Trackview group of commands, then see if that shortcut will reveal the field. I used CTRL-SHIFT-INSERT. However, the field isn't missing in my workspace. Sometimes, the text is almost invisible to see due to the dimmed font color.
It can be a question of the size of the Vegas GUI. If you enlarge the window, it becomes visible maybe.

Yep same here, unless I double click the selection to make the numbers bright white I can hardly see it

Thanks for the responses. The selection length field was was there all the time, it was off-screen due to the amount of toolbar icons, the header column size and the PC's DPI settings.
Problem solved.. sort of. This was not an issue in earlier versions prior to the devs adding the (bottom) timeline toolbar.
